Evaluation:
From comparison of the above scans you are able to gauge what a difference the chosen settings makes when scanning documents. You are also able to identify the differences in file size depending on the dpi you choose.
Although a higher dpi reduces graininess it expands the file size a considerable amount. When scanning black and white images the greyscale option is both better for file size and crispness of the image.
When scanning a paper towel texture the image becomes extremely blurry but the file size remains remarkably small(ish).
*N.B MFC-250C Brother printer was used, the software 'Image Capture' only offers Text, Black & White and Colour options, therefore, Text replaced the Lineart option and Black & White replaced Greyscale.
